As usual we left the hotel at 0800 hours and we went straight to Chatucak by train. As we were about to arrive, we got the sight of how much land we have to cover. The size of land of Chatucak is like the size of 10 football fields.

At last, this is what I am here for. To shop! The quest started off slow with just viewing but not buying anything because all the shop we passed by was Animal shops, Furniture shops, Accessories shops and much more.

But finally we reached the clothing shops and it was too good to be true. Alot of good clothings with such a low price! We haggled and hustled with the price and by the end of the day I think we managed to get a 'discount' of a total of about $20! :)

Throughout the whole journey, we had to stop and take a break 3 times. And the journey we took was only 30% of Chatucak.



After 5 hours of non stop shopping and a day without breakfast, we were seriously hungry. What better way to fill our stomach with our long lost restaurant: A&W ! 

Bloated, we taxi-ed ourself back to our hotel to wash up and pack our stuff. 1600 hours was the time and we checked-out and headed to MBK to place our bulky bags at their bag storage services. Lighten and 12 hours to spare before leaving Thailand, there was nothing else to do in MBK but to shop and relax and of course, more donuts!

First we walked around MBK and shopped at the same time until it was time to have dinner where we had another meal of chicken rice. But I was too tired to even stay awake so after eating I went straight to sleep... on the dining table itself.



After having donuts and 15 cm tall ice cream, we went to a nearby internet shop where we played some games and checked our mails. After that we pampered ourself by going to a reflexology session where for one hour they will massage your legs and the best thing is that... it only cost S$8 and for a full body massage it cost a little bit more... $10 !!! But we were stupid that we opted for the legs only. I regretted not taking the full body massage.

Soon, it was 2200 hours and the shopping centre was about to close. We were a few mins late and we rushed to get back our bags. Fortunately, the bag storage centre is still open and we walked out the shopping centre with 6 more hours to spare.

We were homeless and we wondered around the city with no directions or plans. We stopped and sat at a park near World Trade Centre for 1 hour until we decided to go to the airport for the next 5 hours prior to take off.

At the airport, we had our supper at Burger King and as well as our resting place. Technically. We actually slept at the seats at Burget King. Fortuitously, no one else was there because the cleaner closed the section where we slept and we were supposed to be waken up and directed out but why the cleaner didnt wake us up is still a question. :)

Finally, it was time to go home. We got up the airbus where it transported us to our plane - AirAsia. I remembered on Day 1 I said JetStar plane is small. If that is small, then AirAsia plane is tiny. And once again we got seated way back at the tail of the plane but this time I got the window seat! *heh heh heh*



At 0700 hours, our plane took off from Bangkok International Airport and 2hrs 30 mins later it landed at Singapore Changi Airport.

There was nothing else to do but to get home and rest our body as soon as possible. We took the MRT back home and pretty soon...

... I was back at Bukit Batok, Singapore.

We woke up that morning we sore on our asses. It must be the bikes' fault. Anyhow, we didnt return the bike yesterday as we were too tired and so we parked our bikes outside of the hotel... secretly. Thankfully when we checked-out and went to check on the bikes, they were still there.

So it was time so return back to Bangkok. But first, we returned the bike and took some photos of K-Town and some historic places and also... the border gate.





Another 2 hours ride and we are at Bangkok again. It was 1000 hours and its too early to be checking in so we walked around the many shopping centres there and we played arcade too. Some games needed 2 token, and one token cost 10 Baht   =O

1400 hours and we checked-in and went straight to Mabungkrong or better known as MBK. Had our lunch there at The Pizza Company and after a few rounds of window shopping, we went to see a local Thai action movie called "M.I.A.".

It was pretty crappy movie about the conflict of First Wife and Mistress.   -_-"?    Like how should we know... the synopsis were in Thai! Anyway, the last few part was quite funny so we laughed our heart out. I was sitting in a curl ball position putting my leg at the chair infront. So when i laughed, i accidently farted. =|   and it was quite loud   =|     embarressed, i cover myself. But unfornately, the show ended 3 seconds after i farted. So the lights were on and people were looking at us.

Ah... still embarressed. So after that, we had Dunkin Donuts (Hmmm.... why dont they have that in Singapore anymore) and went to The World Trade Centre for shopping.



2000 hours and the party has just started. We took a cab and went straight to Patphong or better known as a red light district. Apart from the clubs and bars, there were also pasar-malam-like shops. Bought some shirts, see the pole-dancing girls and went to A-go-go Boys club =|. But we didnt enter thats for sure...

We then ride 'Tut-tut' to get back to our hotel for the last time to rest ourself. Tomorrow, it will be a very long day for us as we will be going to Chatucak - the mecca for shopping.

0700 hours and it was time to get up and get ready for war. An hour later we checked-out from the hotel and proceeded to Bangkok Bus Terminal for our 2 hour ride to Kanchanaburi.

We were due to leave the bus terminal at 0830 hours but there was some internal problem so we ended up leaving at 0915 hours where we arrived at Kanchanaburi at 1115 hours.

After checking in at River Kwai Hotel, we geared up and get ready for battle! But first, we have to satisfy our empty stomach.     We headed down to a restaurant and had Thailand's finest meal - Tom Yam. Wanting something to remember about the food here, we ordered extra spicy! But... to our dismay, the Tom Yam was quite a disappointment as it was not hot at all.

Ok! Time for Songkrang! But first... we need a ride. So we went to a bicycle shop and rented 3 bicycle at a cost of 20 Baht each. ($1 = 25 Baht) Orite. Now we were fully prepared and there nothing more we can do but to... attack !

We cycled our way through the crossfire squirting water from our mini super-soaker while the locals were on big monster pick-up with a big pail of water. As we cycle, we got stopped by a local and there we were getting 'make-up' from them. Using flour that has been mixed with water, they cream it on our face and some of the flour even got into my mouth. The locals were satisfied and we were let go.

Along the way of going to The River Kwai Bridge, we encounter another mod of locals... and another... and another until we finally reached our destination. There we parked our rides and took some time to take pictures and of course, our breath.

Took alot of pictures with the bridge we did until it was time to head home and to be hit with water once more.

1900 hours and we were all clean up and ready to hit the town of Kanchanaburi. Of course we had our dinner first followed by shopping at the shopping mall. Another highlight of the trip other than the Songkrang Festival was this...

eating Thailand's favourite past time snack - Insects or Bugs.

Allow we to introduce them and how they taste like. The long ones are somekind of a caterpiller and it is the most delicious among the rest. The flourery taste reminds me of french fries. The fat ones are maggots and it is the most disgusting among the rest. The juicy inside reminds me when you bite into a sweet of chocolate eclairs. The big ones are grasshoppers and it does taste better than the fat ones, but they have sharp legs which kind of hurt your tougue and get stuck in between your teeth when you chew it.

And that closes the event for the day as we tugged in our beds to rejuvenate ourself as tomorrow, we will be heading back to Bangkok for more shopping and discovery.

It was 1500 hours and we - my brother (Zye) and I - were late. Supposedly our plan was to leave the house at 3 but we were just getting ready and doing any last minute check-ups.



45 minutes had past since our planned time and we were off heading to the airport! Before leaving I swap my wallet with my old ones and kept the Thai Bath in that thinking if anything were to go missing, i wont be losing my present wallet. Thus, i only carried my Thai money inside the wallet with nothing else. So time for us to use the public transport - MRT - to get to the airport. Alas! I forgot to bring my ez-link card. :D

orite... i've juz finished studying Thai Language Lesson 2 out of 10 Lessons.... ahhaha...  and its 3 hours prior to my take off.... and im half way packing my stuffs...

dunno wat to bring man....

facial soap.... check !
condom........ check !
super soaker... check !


orite !! im ready !! haha.... yep.. gotta bring my super soaker !!! coz its NEW YEAR in thailand... or also known as SONKRANG festival or WATER FESTIVAL.... no one will be spared... not even the police officers... so.... WATER FIGHT !! cant wait... hehe...

i will be back *hopefully* on the 18th that is mondae morning.... eh... the date looks familiar....... oh... hudaa starting sch that dae... hahaha  :P     enjoy school !!

so i'll be bringing this BIG backpack... like those tourist.... its so weird... hopefully the bag is not that heavy or i'll probably topple backwards...  and my brother who is the tour guide saes we will be going to airport via the MRT... and we will be going to westmall first to exchange our money... damn... hopefully no one sees me.... malu siakz...

... so nyp letters came and i need to do alot of paper work and all must be submited before 19 ill be going on a trip on 14 and coming back on 17 so try to finish all before departing juz found out yijuans cussen same course as me but dont thing he is 18 kinda look old and yeah ive cut my hair by popular demand and now i feel that i want long hair again but wait till it snows coz its very stuffy to have long hair no wonder many girls became butch starwars coming out next month cant wait who wanna go watch the midnite show yuhooo natalie portman natalie portman and yeah speaking of which juz now smallville was happening man and luis lane is damn pretty but lana lang is like a bitch already kissing everyone anyway im so gonna watch the next episode its the next big thing after friends and ah wat else to sae nothing so

Najai Turpin... commited suicide.

There was some arguement with his wife in the car... and the wife went out of the car for awhile and then...

*BOOM*   najai took the fatal blow to his head... he shot himself.

But one thing is for sure... his death got nothing to do with Boxing of The Contender.
